General Rental Terms and Conditions:

Rental fees for equipment and gear must be paid in advance to Rokua Outdoors Oy. The renter must be prepared to present a receipt upon collection of the rental equipment.

CANCELLATION POLICY
If the cancellation is made less than 48 hours before the start of the rental period, the full rental fee must be paid. If the cancellation is made more than 48 hours before the start of the rental period, a handling fee of €30 (daily rentals) or €15 (rentals under 8 hours) will be deducted from the refund. Cancellations can be made by email or phone to Rokua Outdoors Oy. For group bookings of more than 8 bikes, cancellations are free of charge up to 7 days before the rental; after that, 100% of the fee will be charged.

If the equipment is returned after the agreed time, an additional fee may be charged. If the equipment is returned earlier than agreed, the renter is not entitled to a refund.

By renting equipment through the booking service, the renter agrees to these rental terms and conditions.

The renter is obligated to take good care of the rented equipment as if it were their own and to exercise special caution and care while using it. The renter agrees to use the equipment only for its intended purpose. The renter is responsible for the full value of the equipment and accessories until they are returned as agreed. The renter must compensate for any damages, lost parts, or accessories. If the renter causes damage intentionally or by violating the rental terms, they are liable for the full amount of the damage. The renter is solely responsible for any damages they cause.

Rental equipment and gear may not be taken outside the Rokua Geopark area unless expressly agreed in writing. Equipment may only be transported in a vehicle using a proper, purpose-built rack. All rental equipment and accessories remain the property of Rokua Outdoors Oy. The renter may not transfer the rented items to a third party without a separate agreement with Rokua Outdoors Oy. A minor (under 18 years old) may rent equipment only with the guardian’s consent.

In case of theft or traffic accident, the renter must immediately contact Rokua Outdoors Oy and notify the police.

The rental equipment must be returned to the agreed location at the end of the rental period. The lessor has the right to terminate this agreement during the rental period if it becomes evident that the renter is not complying with the rental terms. Rokua Outdoors Oy ensures that all equipment is regularly maintained.

If a dispute arises between the renter and the lessor that cannot be resolved, it will be settled in the district court of Rokua Outdoors Oy’s domicile.

DISCLAIMER OF LIABILITY
Rokua Outdoors Oy is not responsible or liable for any damages caused by the renter during the rental period to the rented equipment (including accessories), to the renter themselves (personal injury), or to third parties, whether directly or indirectly, including personal, property, or any other possible damages.
